Terms of Service

1. License Grant

When you purchase an M-Sound product, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product within Roblox experiences. You do not own the product itself — you own only a license to use it. M-Sound retains all intellectual property rights over its products.

2. Usage Rights

• Each license is tied to one Roblox account
• You may use licensed products in your own Roblox experiences
• You may temporarily lend your license through the M-Sound Hub or Dashboard
• You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the product files with any third party
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or create derivative works from the product source code
• You may not use M-Sound products in a way that violates Roblox's Terms of Service

3. Lending

The lending feature allows temporary access sharing between verified M-Sound users. While a license is lent, the original owner cannot use the product. Lends automatically expire after the set duration. M-Sound reserves the right to revoke lending privileges at any time without notice.

4. Transfers

License transfers are permanent and irreversible. Once transferred, you lose all rights to use the product. The recipient must have a verified M-Sound account. M-Sound is not responsible for transfers made in error.

5. Account Linking & Authentication

To use M-Sound products, you must link your Discord and Roblox accounts. M-Sound offers two methods of authentication:

• Discord OAuth2: When you sign in with Discord, we request access to your basic profile information (user ID, username, and avatar) through Discord's OAuth2 API. We do not access your email, messages, servers, or any other Discord data. We do not post on your behalf or modify your Discord account in any way.
• Roblox OAuth2: When you link or sign in with Roblox, we request access to your basic profile information (user ID and username) through Roblox's OAuth2 API using the openid and profile scopes. We do not access your inventory, Robux balance, friends list, or any other Roblox data. We do not perform any actions on your Roblox account.

Both OAuth2 integrations follow the principle of minimal data access. We only request the permissions strictly necessary for account verification and license management. You can revoke access at any time through your Discord or Roblox account settings.

6. Data We Store

For the purpose of license verification and account management, M-Sound stores the following information:

• Your Discord user ID and username
• Your Roblox user ID and username
• Your license records (product, date, status)
• Your purchase history (product, date, amount)
• Your lending and transfer history
• Your account linking method (Hub, OAuth, or both)

We do not store passwords, OAuth access tokens (these are used once and discarded), email addresses, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account data by using the /unlink command in our Discord server, which removes your linked account record. For complete data removal including license and purchase history, contact us through Discord.

8. Revocation

M-Sound reserves the right to revoke any license at any time for violations of these terms, including but not limited to: redistribution of products, abuse of the licensing system, fraudulent purchases, chargebacks, or any behavior deemed harmful to the M-Sound community or its users.

9. Refunds

All purchases are processed through Roblox and are subject to Roblox's refund policy. M-Sound does not process refunds directly. If you experience technical issues with a product, contact us through our Discord server for support.

10. Service Availability

M-Sound strives to maintain service availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. Current service status is available at status.m-sound.dev.

11. Third-Party Services

M-Sound integrates with third-party services including Discord and Roblox. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. M-Sound is not responsible for the availability, security, or policies of third-party services.

12. Disclaimer

M-Sound products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or interruptions arising from the use of our products or services. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue products at any time.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced through our Discord server. Continued use of M-Sound products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
